We had a chance to go to the field trip where they elaborate landscaping projects and agriculture for Qatar; from flowers, fresh fruits and vegetables to the local market. The children had a chance to see how cucumber plants, tomatoes and radish grow and were able to harvest them on their own. It was a unique experience! We then got to see some animals including (ostrich, goats, turkeys a camel, chickens and its family). We had a chance to see eggs in an incubator, and see some chicks that had just cracked their eggs. We walk along the flowers that will take part of the huge flower display for Qatar’s National Day. Had our picnic snacks and proceed to the water fountain for some pictures while admiring the ducks.
The Children were introduce to the school tables. We worked with the tablets, children were trying to solve problems and really enjoyed them. We will try to use them more often.

We had been talking about living and non living things around us. We have a few plants in the class and one day one of our plants was sad, it needed water. The children kept saying the plant is dead, they were very worried we gave it some water and we observed the plants reaction. We took pictures to see the the process of our plant getting recuperated and they were able to understand plants need water to live.
We also planted seeds so the children can see the process of germination. they enjoyed seeing how seeds grow and were amazed to see their plants.
The children learned about the effects of healthy and unhealthy eating and the different type of foods. they were able to talk about them and share their experiences with their friends.
