We had a very nice time being the orange team. It was very nice to exchange different games with other classes and teachers.
We started the day in the playground, the children enjoyed the different equipment, they ran, played with sand, got on the horses, boat , merry go round. After we proceed to have our picnic on the grass (like some of the children said real grass).
We ran , played duck duck goose, had a tug of war and competed with the Eagle class and had so much fun !
Reminder the National Day school celebrations will take place on Thursday instead of Wednesday. Please send food and have your child dress up Thursday. Wednesday will be a normal school day.
We had a chance to go to the field trip where they elaborate landscaping projects and agriculture for Qatar; from flowers, fresh fruits and vegetables to the local market. The children had a chance to see how cucumber plants, tomatoes and radish grow and were able to harvest them on their own. It was a unique experience! We then got to see some animals including (ostrich, goats, turkeys a camel, chickens and its family). We had a chance to see eggs in an incubator, and see some chicks that had just cracked their eggs. We walk along the flowers that will take part of the huge flower display for Qatar’s National Day. Had our picnic snacks and proceed to the water fountain for some pictures while admiring the ducks.
