Falcon Class make the best zoologists! We continue to explore what we want to do when we grow up and what can make, create, design, and invent? First, we discussed all the different types of animals (wild and domestic) and the animals we see in the zoo or at our house. After discussing all these animals, the students got to choose which one they wanted to study. We had 8 questions to answer. Where does it live? (continent or country) What does it eat? (carnivore or herbivore) Why is it special? What is its habitat? (desert, grassland, arctic) How big is it? It is it a predator or prey? Does it use camouflage? What is its skin like? Then, the students worked in groups to create the habitats, and answer the other questions. We then had an Animal safari to use our counting and tallying skills. At the end of our safari we had animal crackers and milk to celebrate.
