Why Use Fine Motor Activities?
Using fun activities will give your child a sense of achievement while helping to develop essential handwriting skills.
Kids with poor fine motor skills often dread paper-and-pencil activities... don’t worry, there is not a pencil or a crayon in sight for most of these fun learning activities!
I have included a link to 2 different webpages (you can click on the links) that help give you ideas you can work on at home with your child while having fun. Many of the ideas seem like only playing, but they are actually building valuable skills and muscles in order to write and hold a pencil correctly in the future. The link between what we do in school and what parents can do at home to help is very important as we need to work together to best help your child. If you have any questions please feel free to talk to me in person and I can help explain it further to you. I am always here to help.
